Nikki Lewien SayCheez Photo Booth Topeka shows something new and fun.
Congratulations to Dustin & Maggie! They tied the knot on January 1st and held a reception on the 15th at the Airport Hilton in Kansas City. What a great crowd and fun reception, the line was constant at the photo booth for the two hours we were there; the scrapbook was filled with a ton of memorable photos.
I have always been impressed by the staff at the Airport Hilton and the way they handle the huge receptions there. We’ve been a part of many large receptions in their main ballroom. This reception was smaller with about 100 guests and in a smaller ballroom, and was every bit as nice. I had never really thought of this hotel as a place for smaller events, but would highly recommend it. Danica Castelletto is the Events/Catering Manager there; she always does a great job coordinating events. Danica can be reached at (816) 801-4015 or via email at dcastelletto@hiltonkci.com.
Thank you Dustin & Maggie for choosing Say Cheez to be a part of their wedding celebration!

‘Tis the season…for booking booking booking those weddings! Just had a great and hectic weekend at the Wichita Bridal Fair with Steve and Lisa, with a last minute (and much needed) arrival of Nikki on Saturday. Thank you! We were swamped Saturday! Sunday was a little slower with the snow, the Chiefs, KU, and WSU playing but it was steady.
The word is getting out and our booths are starting to get busy! Thank you to all the brides that make this all so worthwhile! And another thank you to all the awesome Say Cheez owners, you guys ROCK! I am glad we all work together so well. Till next time…keep smiling!
We are out today at the Overland Park Convention Center supporting our friends from Natalie M. Natalie M is a premier provider of formal wear in Overland Park. Today’s fashion show features hundreds of area high school teens modeling the latest fashions from renowned designer Tony Bowls.

Wichita Bridal fair a BIG success today–booked a total of 8 weddings–resting our feet and have another prospective day tomorrow!!! Say Cheez Photo Booth ROCKS!!
Our first bridal fair is this Sunday at the Junction City Courtyard Marriott. We are really excited to get out there and help lots of brides. Any tips or tricks for us to know? Hoping we don’t do anything that turns brides off (I personally hated having to enter my name at millions of booths for a free give away just so the company would have my contact info!). Can’t wait, hope to see lots of people ready to hop into the booth for a photo this weekend from 1-5!
You may not know this but January is bridal fair season. Many couples get engaged over the holidays and brides to be start the long process of planning their weddings. For wedding vendors this is also an exciting time. Photographers, Videographers, DJ’s and everyone it takes to pull off a wedding gear up for the fairs.

Mechelle you are so funny! Love your blog about upscale Jell-O shots. It reminded me of an event we had the SayCheez PhotoBooth at here in Topeka last year where a local cake company did something I have never seen with the left over cake. At the end of the event they cut it into small Jell-o shot sized containers and walked around offering Cup Cake Shots. You would choose what flavor cake you wanted like German Chocolate and they would pour some corresponding alcohol over it like Kaluha, then top it with icing. YUM! Talk about a way to get rid of all that extra cake. Everybody loved them. I could see that being the next big thing. There is always cake left over. Why not make good use of it.
I have started to notice a trend where brides are getting smart and feeding the guests a midnight snack to keep them from leaving the fun. We were at a wedding in Kansas City where at midnight a Nathans Hot Dog truck showed up out front. It was a hit! Hmm fun stuff to think about. Thanks Mechelle now I want a shot!
I ran into this online today, and I love the idea! I love even more the fact that the recipes are posted on the blog site! A little more upscale version of jello shots.
Wichita Bridal Fair is Jan. 8 & 9th at Century 2. We are booth #50 please come by and see us and get your picture taken!
